Hi, hello! I'm Pooja Samuel, a Director of People and Culture with over seven years of experience helping early-stage companies build thoughtful, people-centered foundations for growth.

HR should be a catalyst for culture, belonging, and business success, not just a compliance function. Throughout my career, I've helped startups scale intentionally and sustainably, leading talent acquisition, employee experience, total rewards, and organizational design with a focus on both operational excellence and care for the human experience.

I know what it takes to build people strategies that can grow with a company, not against it. I work closely with founders to cultivate strong roots, design scalable systems, and nurture inclusive cultures that set the stage for long-term success.

Outside of work, you can usually find me in the kitchen or exploring new restaurants, loving on my two orange cats, traveling whenever I can, enjoying a moderately fast car, dancing to hip hop, or unwinding with a classic 80s or 90s sitcom.
